Is the MST Web Viewer for ASP.NET a Desktop application or a Web-based application?
The MST Web Viewer is a web based application. The frontend is built using ASP.NET (HTML), JavaScript, AJAX technologies and its backend is managed by the robust MST Server. The images are retrieved, decoded, and processed on the server and the tiles of JPEG or PNG images are streamed to the workstation's browser. Toolkits are available and provide a wide variety of APIs to programmatically manage and customize the viewer controls.
Does MST Web Viewer for ASP.NET support Client-Server architecture?
Yes, the MST Web Viewer supports Client-Server architecture. The MST Web Viewer provides toolkit controls that are deployed on the client's browser and connect to the server application to retrieve tiles of images with the desired properties such as scale, rotation, and other image processing operations. The MST Web Viewer is built on our on-demand technology which only retrieves and displays the tiles in the viewing area, which reduces bandwidth consumption and increases the speed of rendering documents and images.

How are annotations saved with MST Web Viewer for ASP.NET? Are they burned to the document?
The MST Web Viewer saves annotation in a separate binary or XML file. The annotations are overlaid on top of the document when it is rendered. The MST Web Viewer does provide the feature to burn annotations permanently to the document or image while saving or exporting it.
Does the MST Web Viewer for ASP.NET support IBM MO:DCA formats?
